This golden poinsettia flower was one of my Christmas tree decorations. I just love the simplicity of it. Looks very pretty and it was perfect for our tree. By the way our tree still up but it's going soon since it is real tree. I saw one tree on the road yesterday while the wind was blowing it around.

Christmas Day was Over

Hello everyone! How’s your Christmas? I hope you had a good one. I spent my Christmas with my daughter at home. We were supposed to go to my sister-in-laws place for dinner but we didn’t go. My daughter still sick and we don’t want other kids to get sick too that’s why we stayed. Hubby went to her sister’s place by himself. Snowing like Crazy

It was snowing since this afternoon until now. It's 2:48 am now early morning and I'm still up. I went downstairs by the entrance door and took a couple of snow shots. Hello my friends. I just went out to drive my brother and mother to work. It’s snowing again and the road was very slippery. I was very careful but I still slipped a little bit. It makes me nervous especially if someone following me to close. People sometimes don’t have a common sense or maybe just being stupid. Anyway I was thinking the other day when I was talking to my sister that maybe it’s time to go back to School. But the problem is I don’t have time because I’m working. I cannot stop working because that’s our livelihood. Then I came across this site who offers online courses. The Truth about Holodomor

Hello my fellow bloggers! How are you tonight? It looks like the snowstorm has stopped. Thank you God! Our driveway is quite clean right now so nothing to worry about getting stock in the snow. I hope tomorrow will be nice one. I love snow but I hate cold. I know I’ve been saying this a lot. Well I’m just making noise here you know. If it’s not cold tomorrow I will take my daughter outside to make a snowman. She has been outside with us this afternoon and helped us shovel. She enjoyed it very much but it was too cold so we went inside and make popcorn. After dinner she watched movie called Tinker Bell and she fall asleep in the couch. I just moved her to the bedroom. Anyway enough about that I will talk a little bit about holodomor which means hunger that comes from the Ukrainian word. There was a Soviet famine happened between 1932 – 1933 which most of the agricultural area was affected by it. Some of the politicians were involved in this tragedy including Viktor Yuschenko. There has been a debate about the famine that it was designed as an attack Ukraine. Well I really don’t much about the truth but you can visit the site for the history of holodomor.

Plum Trees

As a gardener I’m always looking for something to plant in my garden. Every year I try to plant different perennials that I like. I’m also looking for something different like Plum trees and apple trees. I do have enough space in my backyard for trees so I don’t have to worry about where to plant trees. I’m not planning to plant a lot of trees though maybe couples. I do love plums and apples.
