Saguaro plant

Two weeks ago I celebrated my birthday with my family. It was just a little dinner with one main course. My parents-in-law came over as well. I didn’t know what to cook for dinner that night so I just went to the grocery store and look around. Then I decided to get a fresh salmon. When I get home I didn’t know what to do with it. Finally I decided to bake it and add some mushroom soup. I boiled some baby potatoes and made some Caesar salad. Well it turned out that salmon is my FIL’s favorite meal. I’m glad that they like my dinner.
Anyway they gave me a quilt blanket for a present. My daughter gave me some red cactus of course courtesy of her Grandma. It’s funny because she told Mom that red is my favorite so they have to find color red. Everybody knows that red is my favorite. I’m just wondering if saguaro plant are color red (smile). I just want to mention that we are looking for plants that we can plant in our backyard. We just move here and there’s no plant at all so maybe I can buy saguaro plant or saguaro phoenix. I don’t know what the difference really! I need to research about these plants before buying. Perhaps you know about this saguaro plants. Please let me know. I need your ideas and two cents. It's Thursday

Its Thursday morning here and I just read a disturbing email from a group that I’m in. It’s not what you need when you just wake up you know. Well it’s not my problem. In the other hand my daughter is home. She has been bugging us and it’s so noisy here. She wants to play with her friends but they are not home right now. They are all in school. I told her to wait when they come from school. ..Kids eh!

Holiday Season

Hi again everyone! As you know Christmas time is just around the corner so I’m sure everyone is getting ready for this holiday season. My parents –in-law are planning to spend Christmas at the cottage which is about 6 hours drive. They are also planning to rent a van so that we can go all together in one car. It would be nice to have an RV you know because it’s perfect for traveling like this. Did you know that that there used rv for sale online. In fact I’m going to check it right now. I would love to have one you know but I need money of course. Well I guess I just have to save money first.

Tea Party

Last Sunday I was hosting a tea party here at home. I just invited a few close friends and my brother with his girlfriend. We had really a great time. My friends brought some Filipino sweets that I missed to eat. I made some rice cake too so everyone bring some home. Anyway my brother and his girlfriend are planning to move in the apartment so they are looking right now. I told them to check out Scottsdale apartments. I know it’s very far and I’m just kidding guys. They are actually looking area west end area close to ours.

A Baby

I just had a baby for the last two months and I’m doing great. Well except my weight you know! We all know that being pregnant our size gets bigger but we are hoping after having a baby it will get smaller. I am hoping though that I will not resort into weight loss products because I don’t money for it. But if you are curious to check out their products by all means go ahead.

Welcome Party

Last Saturday we were invited for a welcome party. My friend’s sister came to Canada a week ago from Saudi Arabia. There was lots of Filipino food of course from letson, kare-kare, ribs, pancit and many more. One thing I notice in the house was the ping pong tables in the living room area. They have a big house so the tables fit in perfectly.

Pink Daisies and Carnation

This was taken sometime last month at my Mon-in-laws place. It was their anniversary gift. It was perfectly setting on their table and decided to take a shot. I love daisies you know! Pink daisies blend beautifully with pink carnation as you can see in the photo. Have a great week everyone!

I Miss my Flowers

One of the disadvantages of moving here at the new place is that we can’t just plant anything we want. We need to ask permission every time you need to do something. It’s condo policy. I miss my flowers at the old house especially the roses, lilies and tulips. Well I know that I can plant those flowers again but there’s only a small area that I can plant.Take care everyone!

Plasma TV

As long as I can remember TV has been very popular as sort of entertainment. It’s even more popular these days. It used to be heavy stuff now they call it plasma tvs and DVD’s. We are still using the old kind actually so I’m thinking of getting plasma but I don’t know yet. I have to check by budget first.

Moving to another School

Aside from moving to another house we have also move our daughter to another School. There is another closer School from our house. Hubby was apprehensive at first because he was worried if my daughter will be sad. He thinks that it will be hard for my daughter. Well knowing my daughter I’ve never thought of her as a scared girl. She is very friendly and very outgoing. She has been 3x to her new School and so far so good.

Look my friends I have to talk about moving again. I know you must be bored hearing about it but just be patient with me okay? As you know we have been working really hard with this new house because we have to clean it well due to the previous owner has a dog. For some reason the dog peed in the carpet so we have to remove it and change a new carpet. Last night they installed the carpet and I’m so glad it’s done now. We had to wait for six weeks before they installed it. We still have a lot of things to do like TV stuff. I had to cancel our satellite because I’m thinking of Direct TV so that we could save money. Downsize our Home

Hi it’s me again updating my blog. I mentioned to you that we have move to another place. Well that’s actually another house. We have to downsize our home since we couldn’t afford with the mortgage. I’m on maternity right now and hubby doesn’t have a job so we had to do something to survive. I’m just glad that our family is helping us with their helping hands, money assistance, love and support. I’m very fortunate to have that kind of family.

Good Furniture

You know that I have been blogging about our moving recently. It was very stressful because of packing and then unpacking. We have lots of stuff to move including heavy things like furniture and some appliances. We have to move to a house that doesn’t have appliances so naturally we have to bring our own appliances. Anyway I was on the internet this afternoon looking for dinette sets and leather sectional sofa. I’m thinking of getting one of them but I don’t know yet since I need to look at my budget. The Bus

Hubby and I went to downtown today and took the bus. It’s been ages that we haven’t taken a bus. The fare has been gone up tremendously. It’s now 2.50 dollars per person so it will be 5.00 back and forth. We didn’t take the kids with us so my sister looks after them while we were gone. Taking a bus is fun as long as you are not in a hurry.

Netbooks

Wow! It’s month of November already. I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas. It’s time for shopping but I don’t know what to get for my family. I probably get clothes since we need new winter clothes.
By the way I’m just so happy right now because my sister in the other side of the world finally bought her own netbooks so we are now in contact by chatting.
