As I look around me at the moment, I can hardly see a square inch of
floor that is not occupied by my 3 year-old son's collection of toys.
He's got the Lego boxes out, the train sets, the "dinky cars", his fire
engines, and even his stuffed animals. It's a domestic minefield just
to try to walk to the kitchen for a glass of milk. Step on a piece of
Lego the wrong way, and you'll know exactly what I mean.
It's a good thing that we've got good solid laminate flooring - like you'd find at http://www.flooringamericaofasheville.com/
- covering the main floor where all of this is going on almost every
day. It's a stroke of genius or incredible foresight that we moved into
this house with flooring that can take the kind of punishment dished
out by our little rough and tumble toddler and also his older just as
rough and tumble sister. Already, in the 3 years that we've lived here,
that floor has seen some nasty spills and kid messes. So we're
thankful for our flooring.
Now the upstairs bedrooms also have similar laminate flooring
installed as well. So the same could be said for the upstairs as
downstairs. However, the main floor is still the main kid-zone as far
as toys and activities goes.
