It’s that time of year when family gets together at summertime
and the good food and beverages appear all at the same time. I don’t
know about you, but I find the home-made dinners – including especially
the pies and cookies – to be one of the most enjoyable things around
this time of year. It’s the fact that they are home-made with love and
care that makes them so delicious and good to eat.
It’s not usually appreciated to the same extent, but why shouldn’t
the same attention be given to the beverages we consume as well – in
particular, the alcoholic ones? It’s interesting, but why not as many
home-made spirits around the Christmas table as home-made pies. The
proliferation and availability of beer brewing kit solutions would seem to make it an almost foregone conclusion.
