Prickly Wild Rose

Rosa acicularis
Prickly Wild Rose is a bushy shrub and commonly widespread in Ontario region. In general it’s usually densely prickles with many straight and slender thorns. It sweetly smells with their fragrant pink roses. Most part of rose shrubs is edible but the sweet nutritious hips are most commonly eaten and used to make tea.

That busy bee is certainly enjoying it's sweetness, what a great capture and the flower is gorgeous.
