Manage pests naturally (lawn)

1. Control weeds and insects naturally. Dig out weeds and their roots by hand. Pour boiling water on weeds that are growing between patio stones, etc. Knock insects off plants into a dish of soapy water.
2. Use the least-toxic treatments available to address the problem. Look for products containing insecticidal soap, pyrethrin, sulphur, borax, diatomaceous earth, mineral oils.
I'm usually dig out weeds and their roots by hand plus also some weeds tool. But never tried the boiling water yet. I know about this before. I just didn't get a chance to do it. I'm sure this summer I will try it especially the insecticidal soap.
