Weeds in the Garden

I just cleaned most of the weeds in my garden last week and I hope it won't come back. I did it when it was raining so that I can pull it out easily. Thank God it worked. I just hate those prickly weeds. It driving nuts. I just wish I can find a way how to get rid of those prickly weeds without coming back. If you know some tips out there please let me know!
